# Monthly capacity

One service, one delivery model, three levels of included capacity.

## Basis of the plan

The levels set out below do not constitute three services. They are the same [continuous product delivery](https://grm.sh/service) service at three monthly volumes. The assessment confirms that the project fits the standard delivery model and recommends a level on the basis of the actual system and a representative backlog.

| Included monthly capacity | Typical application |
| --- | --- |
| **10 Delivery Units** | A product in steady operation with a modest and predictable stream of changes. |
| **20 Delivery Units** | Active development alongside production operation. This is the usual initial level. |
| **30 Delivery Units** | A full roadmap in continuous execution, with several features in progress during the month. |

The monthly price is quoted together with the assessment result, once the level of the plan has been established.

## Included in every plan

- One agreed product, one ordered queue and one active request at any time.
- The complete delivery process, comprising analysis, Delivery Brief, implementation, testing, independent review, staging, acceptance and production.
- Operation of the agreed production core.
- The assessment preceding commencement of the service, and onboarding following acceptance of the project.

## Terms of capacity

- Unused Delivery Units are not carried forward.
- Requests in excess of the allowance are held until the next billing period, unless additional capacity is agreed.
- Delivery defects introduced by grm.sh do not consume a unit and are not held for a new allowance.
- Critical production incidents take precedence over the queue and are not held for a new allowance.

## Agreed separately

Hosting and other third-party services, additional products, parallel active delivery, additional monthly capacity, major migrations, architectural stabilization, high-availability infrastructure and 24-hour human on-call are agreed separately. These constitute additions to the service rather than separate products.
